I absolutely adore our first Christmas tree and our beautiful house. (It’s a work in progress but it’s coming along.) It all just makes me think about how far I’ve come in the last year. I couldn’t be any happier, and I can’t wait for our first Christmas. (at Wambama House)

This woman was in the Guiness Book of World Records in 2011 for being the most tattooed woman in the world. She was in Aerosmith’s “Pink” music video. And she was interviewed by Larry King on CNN… Her name is Julia Gnuse, she’s 57 years old, and I am in love with this woman. She came into my work today to get her haircut and she was the nicest, sweetest, most grateful woman I have ever met in my life. Hearing her talk about her life brought tears to my eyes. I’ve seen this woman walk the mall many times and always jusy wantes to talk to her, and doing that today made my day, week, possibly year so far. She lives her life the way SHE wants to live it and does what makes HER happy, and that’s exactly how I want to be. I want to be just like her when I’m older (with a few less tattoos). I’m grateful to have met this woman today, and even if I don’t get the chance to REALLY talk to her again, she still made an impact on me that I really needed right now.
